Paper records are stored in a locked cabinet.
Only I have access to this information.
In line with professional guidelines I will retain your personal data for up to 7 years after our last contact. Midwifery notes are kept for 25 years. After this time your data will be destroyed.
Your information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law or in situations where there is risk of serious harm
You have the right to:
Access the personal data I hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Withdraw your consent at any time
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office
