Placenta Encapsulation
There are 2 ways to prepare your placenta for encapsulation ~ Simple or Steamed. Both methods involve preparing your placenta by dehydration, and share the benefits of using your placenta in this way, but your own circumstances and preferences may dictate how we prepare your capsules. The simple method is said to have more invigorating benefits while the steamed method is said to be more calming. The potency of your placenta remedy will be unique to you.
If your baby passes meconium before birth if is recommended that steamed capsules are produced.

Placenta Smoothies
A raw placenta smoothie contains high levels of birth hormones and stem cells which can provide energy and nutrients to help you feel stronger immediately after birth.
A small piece of placenta is blended with berries and spring water and tastes just like a regular fruit smoothie.
A smoothie can be made for you on collection of your placenta if you choose to have your placenta encapsulated. This can be in your home or hospital. A new blender is used each time which you are free to keep afterwards.
