Antenatal Care

My full antenatal care plan includes 10-12 individual appointments, at approximately the following times, depending on your own particular requirements. All appointments take place in your home and are unhurried, with plenty of time for discussion. 

Full Booking at around 12 weeks. This appointment includes a full medical history taking, discussion around your preferences and planning your pregnancy journey.

4 weekly visits up to 28 weeks. Each appointment includes information sharing and is tailored to your needs. Your family is welcome to be present if you wish. 

3 weekly visits at 31 and 34 weeks. 

2 weekly visits up to 38 weeks. Birth planning will take place across a number of visits and I will provide evidence based information for you to make informed decisions throughout.

Weekly visits from 38 weeks up to birth. 

You will have a full set of personalised maternity notes that you get to keep.

You are entitled to access any part of NHS maternity care including routine screening, blood tests and scans and I can organise these for you. If you prefer a private arrangement I can signpost you to local providers.

Fees can be paid in instalments ~ typically a third at booking, a third at 28 weeks, a third at 36 weeks.

If you book late into pregnancy my fees remain the same.  You will receive the same care and expertise within a shorter timeframe.
