All About Me

I qualified as a nurse in 2005 and as a midwife in 2011, and worked in NHS settings until 2023 with my main focus in midwifery~led birth centre and community care. My move towards independent practice is a long held ambition which is rooted in providing a level of service that all women and birthing people deserve, but has become more difficult to provide within the NHS. 

My passion is to provide relationship~based continuity of care, empowering and supporting women and families to achieve the best pregnancy and birth for them, using real evidence to make real choices and decisions. It is an honour and a privilege to be trusted to share this most important, life changing experience and my aim is to provide you and your family with exceptional care.

I will support and guide you, provide information and compassion, and empower you to make choices and decisions that are right for you to achieve your birth ~ your way.

I live in Marlborough, have a husband and 2 grown daughters. When I am not midwifing I read anything and everything, enjoy crafts, cooking, exploring the ancient Wiltshire landscape with the dogs.

I have additional training in RealBirth antenatal education, hypnobirthing, rebozo, aromatherapy and massage, Traumatic Birth Recovery 3 Step Rewind, and placenta remedies.
